We are delighted to have opened the doors to our new Adelaide showroom last month. After 20 years of operation, Sofa Shop Adelaide has closed its doors to make way for our brand new Berkowitz Furniture – Adelaide store.
This is not bad news though, the Sofa Shop name will live on in the products and services offered in the brand new Berkowitz Furniture store. At Berkowitz, we offer a large range of sofas, lounges and recliners, as well as a diverse range of chairs, dining, outdoor and occasional furniture.
For over 120 years, Berkowitz has been dedicated to providing excellence in quality, Australian made furniture and customer service, all at the best prices – and we will continue to do so as we expand our operation to Adelaide.
We are excited to bring our passion for quality furniture to Adelaide, as well as our selection of premium brands that are consistent with the high standards that Berkowitz has become known for. Some of the brands that we stock include IMG Norway, Molmic, Moran Furniture, and Stressless.

Berkowitz is a fifth generation family business with six store locations across Victoria. Our story began in 1896 with our founder, Samuel Berkowitz, who started a small cabinet making business in Petticoat Lane, in the East End of London.
